The screen print offers Roberto Lauro the possibilities of playing with opaque colors and transparent overlays. The resulting tension is compared with the accurate tonality of a piano, whereby the ability of the printer is essential for the visual result of screen printing. Similar to the watercolor, silk screen printing has a close relationship with the sculptural works of Lauros. While the watercolors revolve around transparency and transcendence, which are reflected sculpturally in the material glass, the highly reduced lines are created by screen printing. Surfaces and colors a three-dimensional representation, which the artist later transfers into his sculptures.
