Wide-open landscapes, animals, spectacles of nature and people from various cultures are the motives of the artist Neram. She was born in Hamburg in 1964 and today works and lives in Munich. An overcrowded market in Morocco, an abandoned airfield in Burma or an ice desert in Greenland: Neram employs that what is unknown or foreign to expand the self. She aims to understand the people and their respective motives while simultaneously sustaining the view of the observer.
