The instability of pictorial systems and the problem of perception of reality is the subject of Manuel Eitner. He constructs new contexts from fragments of our private and social life's pictorial world which is marked by mass media. The collector, commentator and archivist creates his poetic visions with details from press and advertising photographs and with still photographs from films.
