Seestück (Gegenlicht)

The work of the artist Gerhard Richter is incredibly versatile and diverse. In addition to the sometimes very large-scale abstract and figurative paintings, Gerhard Richter created a wide variety of watercolors, photographs and prints within the last decades. The print Kerze I (Candle I) is based on an oil painting by Richter from 1982 inspired by Caravaggio. The print edition features a large signature handwritten across the sheet.
