Cory Arcangel (b. 1978) uses specially written computer programs and -games to reflect on different aspects of internet and pop culture. His video installations, internet projects and music performances, along with some drawings and sculptures, focus on entertainment culture and technology. The young American artist reflects the rules and constraints within technology. Observing the latest trends in the entertainment industry and how they dictate our lives, he looks for free spaces in those systems. In the international arts scene Cory Arcangel is a star.
