Philippe Decrauzat (*1974 in Lausanne) explores the history of twentieth-century abstraction through his canvases, sculptures, films and installations. The artist nevertheless takes a critical distance from this heritage and its claimed “autonomy” compared with other disciplines. Decrauzat lives and works in Lausanne.
