The artist Manuel Eitner is a collector, archivist and commentator of fragments of social life. Eitner brings press photos, advertising images and film stills together, arranges them in new combinations and cutouts. By doing this, the artist blurs the original context of the individual parts and creates a new, own context. In this way Eitner reinterprets the depicted realities and plays with the unreliability of pictures in a very poetic way.
