"Georg Baselitz" - Portrait by Evelyn Schels now in the cinemas

The film documentation about the well-known artist is screened in German cinemas since yesterday (April, 11th).
For the portrait, the painter and sculptor Georg Baseliltz has opened his studios in Germany and Italy to the film director Evelyn Schels. For several years, Schels was allowed to accompany the artist privately and at work with her camera.
The result is a multifacetted portrait which shows the artist’s ideals, how he remains loyal to himself and how he constantly reinvents himself at the same time.
