This artwork belongs to a series of three monochrome motifs, made by the artist Frank Badur in 2013. The prints are produced, using the process of photogravure, a very old printing technique that is based on photographic transfer of the motif and is able to depict a very wide range of nuances of grey. The formal and yet very complex compositions of Frank Badur are represented in this very analog technique with an outstanding depth and precision.
