Anfang und Ende/Beginning and End

This original painting showcases Jaksch's characteristic broken forms, the multi-layerd method of working as well as the recurring black lines. In addition to acrylic paint the artist used varnishes to intensify the contrast. The painting includes the motives and elements of her well known "Lebenslinie" (lifeline). Because of the 3 D stretcher frame the painting can be hung with or without an additional frame.
