Stanley Casselman Biography

Born in Phoenix in Arizona, Stanley Casselman studied at Richmond College in London and at Pitzer College in Claremont, California.
As an artist of geometric abstraction, he creates relief-like textures that are reminiscent of the earth's surface. In addition, his works feature influences of the art of Gerhard Richter, Mark Rothko, Joan Mitchell and Helen Frankenthaler.
His style, however, remains unique. Casselman lives and works in New York City. His works can be found at the Art Museums of Georgia and New Orleans.
