Christoph Lammers
Christoph Lammers was born in 1979 in Heidelberg, he studied Communication Design at the Fachhochschule Würzburg (1990-1996) and afterwards at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich with Prof. Gerd Winner (1996-2002). Lammers’ large-sized charcoal murals are created with physical strenght by scratching and scraping. The resulting structures make immediately think of wild sceneries with rocks, rivers and woods. Further details are not always recognizable on first sight as such, but the work titles help the viewer to interpret and understand the displayed forces of nature.
