With his 2009 late wife Jeanne-Claude Christo created in over 50 years, 22 monumental art, dozens more were due to lack of permits in the drawers: "We have some abandoned, others remained in our hearts and minds," Christo said.
So the floating pontoons: 1970 designed for the Rio de la Plata in Argentina, the project is now being implemented 46 years later in northern Italy into action. From June 18 to July 3 to visitors can walk across the lake to the picturesque islands of Monte Isola and San Paolo on floating bridges.
